Opus is entirely dedicated to classical music and provides a programme, which partially focuses on music created and recorded in Luxembourg. We offer a variety of music and shows to comfort you throughout the day.

From Monday to Friday, our presenter Lex Kauffmann welcomes you between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. in our live show ‘Harmonesche Moien’. He will guide you through news and topics, which are related to classical music. On Sunday mornings, you can enjoy a calm start into the day while listening to the show ‘Resonanzen’. On Monday, Wednesday and Sunday nights, we air concerts recorded in national and international concert halls.

What is DAB+?

DAB+ (Digital Audio Broadcasting Plus) is the international standard for digital radio broadcast. It has been available in Luxembourg since 1 December 2025. DAB+ enables a greater selection of radio stations and additionally offers sturdier reception as well as better sound quality than FM. Therefore, DAB+ takes radio broadcast to a new level, especially for classical music. Give it a try!

How to receive DAB+?

What you need:

  • A radio device, which is DAB+ enabled (e.g. radio, digital alarm clock with radio function, or small battery-powered radio)
  • A car with an integrated DAB+ receiver (since 21 December 2020, all new cars in Europe have a built-in DAB+ receiver. It is possible to retrofit a DAB+ receiver into cars built before 2020)

How to find Opus?

Set your device to DAB+ mode and search for the available stations. Then select Opus 100,7.

DAB+ generally provides a stable signal. Nevertheless, reception can depend on the environment. Especially indoors, for example, interference can occur due to other electronic devices and LEDs. To improve reception, here are two tips:

  • Change the position of the device and place it, for example, closer to a window
  • Fully extend the antenna and try different orientations

No DAB+? No problem!

Even without DAB+, you can still experience classical music on our channel: you can find it via the Opus 100,7 app, the Radioplayer app, an internet radio or a smart speaker. In our  media library ‘Mediathéik’ you’ll find a multitude of concerts, which you can listen to wherever and whenever you wish to. All our shows, interviews and podcasts are available on demand as well.
